"Such a helpful, friendly and conscientious receptionist(Peter) when i arrived. He also moved me from the small single room I'd booked to a larger room with a double bed and carried my bag to the lift for me. Much appreciated. My only slight negative is that the pillows were very flat and unforgiving. Softer ones would have perfect."

"The staff were cheerful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. Wayne was lovely, cheerful, a real character! The building is very old, so to get to our room, it was up and down stairs, along corridors, really quaint, but not for someone with limited mobility. - I’m sure you can request a room with easier access. The room itself was ‘small but perfectly formed’, it did what it was supposed to! The paint was peeling off in the bathroom, but it was clean and well stocked with all the toiletries you need. Tea & coffee making facilities were excellent, selection of teas, and coffee bags! Big tick form us there! We ate in the pub too, lovely freshly cooked food, served promptly, and was hot! Breakfast was delicious, selection of cereals, pastries spreads fruit juice etc. lovely strong coffee, and served by the lovely Wayne, what more could we ask for! The car park was ‘tight’ but again, free, - I was just pleased my husband was driving! Overall we had a lovely stay, and would go back again in a jiffy. Thank you everyone! X"

"We had a really lovely stay at The Jubilee Hotel, the hotel was very clean. Very nice room with everything you needed. comfortable bed very happy with the comfort of the accommodation. The breakfast was really good, well cooked with plenty of choice 😋 our party of three all agreed we have never stayed anywhere with such a lovely friendly team of staff, absolutely fantastic, everyone we met that worked there and spoke to in every department were so friendly helpful and kind, 😊we loved it and will definitely be booking to stay again. "

"The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room overlooking the river was clean, quiet and very comfortable for a good night's sleep. All the staff were exceptional and welcoming and the breakfast included a wide range of options to cater for all needs. A good end to our holiday."

"This rambling old building is close to the Quay, with its restaurants and boat tours. The bus and railway stations are 10-15 mins walk away. My bathroom had a large washbasin, the option of bath or shower, and constant hot water. Storage space was sufficient and there was a desk and chair. Breakfast was filling. There is a pleasant courtyard beside the building for drinks."
