"Highly recommended. The hotel is in a tree lined street and feels very safe even at night. They gave us a free room upgrade facing the street. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Free breakfast at the rooftop restaurant gives a clear view of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Bosphorus Strait!!' Excellent location with major sights and tram stations within 5-10min walk. Alot of dining options nearby. Ross Kebab House next door has delicious local food and gives free baklava and tea. Sur Doner Shawarma along the main road has delicious beef doner for $7."

"The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They guided us regarding the sightseeing and food options in Istanbul. Also the breakfast was good and had lots of variety.The room was regularly cleaned. Overall the hotel was near to all major attractions."

"Highly recommend! The king suite was very clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. The A/C was a god sent as the outside temperatures were hot. 10 minutes walk from Sultan Ahmet and all the tourist attractions. The room is well insulated and you don't wake up to the sounds of Ezan (muslim prayer) or the city. The sauna, hamam, and pool were amazing after a long day of sightseeing. The rooftop restaurant offers a generous buffet breakfast that is well worth the price when you book the room and has a lovely view of the bosphorus. All in all, we were extremely happy with Amiral Palace, its friendly staff and all the accommodations. I'd go back to it in a heartbeat. "
