"You can tell this used to be a pretty good hostel and there are still some great things about it. However, it needs some tlc (tender loving care) to get it back up to par. Based on photos we saw, it looks like the lobby used to have a place to sit and change your shoes. That would be great, since you have to remove your shoes before entering each time.
