"Stayed with my daughter and went for a windowless room. This turned out to be a basement room and we were near the door to the stairwell. It was clear the door handle had been removed and replaced and this was off-putting. The room was hot and the air-con appreciated. Bathroom a decent size. The room was not sound proof and you could hear everyone to the left, right and walking up and down the corridor. You could also hear the underground. This again was slightly off putting. Would not stay in the basement again or opt for windowless room."

"Checking in and out was simple, and the staff were really helpful. I requested a room on a higher floor if possible and they quickly upgraded our room to a more premium room on a higher floor and side with a stunning view. The building was very clean and well equipt with all amenities. We had a great stay."

"Hotel was nice, quirky and the room was clean and stocked well with shower gel etc. The bed was very comfortable (probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have stayed in). Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the coffee machines on the floors. The only downside was the breakfast, which wasn't the best. Bacon and sausage were very unappetising."
