"Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. "A lovely quiet site ( June) with a really good restaurant and bar which we used twice during our visit. The food was excellent in the evening. The Falcon Lodge was spacious and mostly clean. The pool is a lovely bonus even if it is quite small and the jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were also used. Weekends are much busier on the site as many people from outside use the facilities ( pool, restaurant and golf course) The overall location is good being situated between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth.
