Beautiful grounds, excellent service, except for my butler he needs to clean the room better. The pool is lovely but it needs more steps or a rail to hold on.

there were so many steps and so few hand rails. It was difficult for us to navigate around. I would not recommend for elders or even mildly handicapped.

This hotel was tucked away in unspoiled nature. Seeing the steam rise from the canyon after a rain never disappointed. On the first night, monkeys were migrating through my yard. I think they wanted the welcoming fruit basket. Jero took really good care of us. It was also nice talking to Agas, who has a sister in Nashville. Everyone was so friendly. I am not a fine diner, but I can appreciate the care and effort the restaurant staff took. Edi took time to talk about the local dishes created.

A great location in a busy area. Easy to find and everything is in walkable distance. We stayed for 3 nights and everyday our room was cleaned. Breakfast is a bonus. Very friendly and attentive owners. The stay is perfectly located that you should not worry about the noise.

The hospitality was exceptional. Food delicious and the room was extremely comfortable!

Soulshine Bali hotel was an Amazing experience. The hotel staff were amazing, very sweet and accommodating. They also upgraded my room for free to a better room prior to getting there so when I arrived, I was able to stay in a larger sized room with better amenities. We really had a great time at Dana's Place. Erek, the owner did a fantastic job of making our stay very comfortable. From suggesting places, to visit to arranging cars for transportation for the day, he was very proactive and helpful. The place is also very private and exclusive with a private pool, two bedrooms with spa like bathrooms. It had a fully equipped kitchen also. This property is amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. All the staffs were very friendly, courteous and attentive. They made me feel so welcomed and they all spoke English pretty well. They picked me up from the airport for about $30 U.S dollars and it was stress free. The property has an infinity pool and the view from my room of the rice field was so beautiful! They have a shuttle that runs every few hours to take you to the center of Ubud where you can walk around and eat and shop....

Great hotel, the room seems to have been a smoking room, it smelled little bad. We also found a cockroach. The rest were perfect, great breakfast, environment and pool area. Good for couple and for relaxing. I feel that the hotel is slightly overpriced.

My husband and I stayed at Alila for 3 nights. We were fascinated by the location (in the middle of a forest!). Waking up to the sounds of the birds chirping was just unreal! Service - we were adorned with superb service at Alila. Everyone was friendly and always pleased to help us. The kind words they used such as, "my pleasure," just showed how much they cared about our satisfaction. On our last day, we got to meet the property manager and he was absolutely fantastic! Great Hotel!! With Organic, Vegetarian and local Restaurant With shuttle service to Ubud Center (4* in ammenities due it didn’t pick me up from the town to the hotel twice). Be advice to use it only to use it from the hotel to the town... In General it’s a Great Hotel I’ll be back...

Fab pools, views, and spa. Breakfast options wonderful. Room was truly incredible. Entire staff top-notch. Breakfast options excellent. (Dinner was fine.) If you can swing it, book a villa on a high floor -- we had villa 157 -- absolutely stunning.

Absolutely phenomenal. We stayed in the brand new portion of the grounds and it was stunning. Every corner of the facility is decorated with beautiful antiques and handcarved wood and stone. The new pool is shallow, but great for doing laps and refreshing after a day of exploring.
