"My expedia confirmation said checkout was 12, but on arrival the hotel said it was 11. I told the front desk this, but they didn't seem bothered and just said it was wrong on Expedia. It was a bit annoying as we had planned our onward trains based on midday checkout. The room was nice, and we enjoyed the sauna in the gym. It is at least 30mins by bus from the main tourist areas, but we knew this when booking. The big issue was that the lifts were broken for most of our stay. It was annoying to walk up 4 flights of stairs, however the main issue was the entrance to these stairs were outside. They propped the door open and so anyone on the street could have wandered onto the guest floors. They should have had a staff member there checking people had room cards to come in. Very unsafe. I also feel like they should have made an effort to apologise to guests (maybe offer a free drink? Or at least a message under the door). All they did was put a sign on the lifts. Another issue was the cleaners took all our towels away and didn't replace them. No one from reception answers the phone ever (we tried on several days for different reasons, and no one ever answered), so we had to go back up and down 3 flights of stairs to get towels from the gym. Also we had spiders in our bathroom despite being on the fourth floor, which we think is because there is a big gap under the sink which hasn't been blocked off."

"Polite staff, clean room, kettle with coffee and tea - all great. Can’t really complain about anything except for the aircon that didn’t work. The room was scorching and it wasn’t even that warm outside. Mentioned it to staff but nothing seems to have been done about it. Upon checking out heard someone complaining of the same thing. It’s not too far from the tram or the station - but the station is huge so isn’t that easy to navigate the best way into or out of it to get to the hotel. Would stay again - but beware of hot weather!"

"This was my 4th stay at Rioca Posto 2 and it continues to be my number one choice whenever I’m in Vienna. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent with easy access to transport links around the city. The rooms are a great size and very well equipped with a small kitchenette, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave, which makes longer stays especially convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, and even the soap smelled amazing. I also really enjoy the unique Brazilian theme throughout the hotel — it gives the place a fun and vibrant atmosphere that stands out from typical hotels. Overall, another great stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna."

"The reception staff was very helpful and kind, forthcoming and efficient and the rooms were quite nice, orderly and with good linens and a good bathroom. Well positioned, just steps from the museum quarter and Mariahilfe Strasse and even closer to the main public transportation network. The best place/price that I’ve found in this area"
