Senses Riviera Maya Oceanfront Boutique hotel - Adults only

"All in all the stay was great. Top notch food, the room was pretty clean and the staff was friendly. Thw jacuzzi tub in the room ran out of hot water by the time it was 1/4 of the way full which wasnt all that great. I think the bartenders, waiters and the staff made the stay a lot better. The location was much different than Cancun as you could not walk anywhere from the property except along the beach. It was a good mile walk from property to the main road and then 30-45min in either direction to get into town. Taxi to Playa Del Carmen ferry was 20$ ea way which was more than reasonable. Air conditioning in the room was non adjustable. It was either in or off as it controlled a the rooms which we managed fairly well as it was comfortable and maybe even a bit cold. Would we recommend the resort. Definitely. Would we stay there again. More than likely. We like to explore a lot more than we did so we will probably pick something a bit closer to town or at the very least along a bus line. "

"This resort offers a quiet vacation environment. The pool area includes a shallow section suitable for sitting in the water, and there are many pool loungers on the pool ledge. However, it may be challenging to find a pool chair after 10am. The spa is well-maintained, and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Specific staff members, including Alfredo, Gricelda, and Lupe, provided attentive service. Although the staff are very helpful, the smaller size of the resort means that food options are limited. Those with simple eating preferences might find themselves eating the same meals daily. Despite this, the restaurant staff are wonderful and the food quality is good. The buffet provides a variety of options, and the sports bar stands out for its excellent service. The bar features multiple screens showing NHL and NBA playoffs, and the food is delicious. Alfredo, our butler and concierge, greatly enhanced our stay. His meticulous attention to detail and dedication to ensuring all our needs were met was exceptional. "

"Place is an older resort but well maintained. The people are amazing . The rooms were large and super clean . The food was really great for a resort I thought . No buffets all food the food was fresh . Premium liquor on hand . The only draw back I had was the honeymoon suite shows first floor with a pool outside in pics . I was on the 4 th floor no pool . I did like the spot because we were away from everything but should have paid less . "

"We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the hotel. We arrived early and we were able to enjoy the amenities while we waited for our room to be ready. After we had our room number, we were able to make reservations for the restaurants for dinner for the nights we were there. We enjoyed our experience at all the restaurants. We went to the buffet for breakfast. We enjoyed the different lunch options around the pool. We spent most mornings at the pool and then enjoyed the afternoons at the beach. The beach had lots of sea grass on some days but it had cleared out on the last day. The entertainment staff had activities all day that were entertaining. They didn't seem to be fluent in English so there was some language barriers with some of them. The pool was great. Large with lots of different areas to enjoy. "
