The grounds are absolutely beautiful and clearly well-maintained, and our rooms were spotless thanks to the diligent daily cleaning. What really made the trip special was the staff—they were genuinely happy and went out of their way to be helpful throughout our stay. The two-pool setup is a brilliant idea; we loved having the option of a quiet, relaxing swim in one pool or joining the high-energy entertainment at the other. Food-wise, the main buffet offered a great variety with different themes each day. The a la carte restaurants were fabulous overall, though we felt the Italian could have been a bit more authentic. This place clearly has a lot of repeat guests for a reason—we highly recommend it!""

"The place was beautiful, with many yummy restaurants and decent drinks. Food was awesome, but breakfast was okay. Housekeeping was amazing and so sweet, adding cute touches to the room. The bartenders could have been kinder, but most of the staff was very friendly. Awesome place and would come back!"

"Great location, relaxing atmosphere with a variety of entertainment. Water Aerobics, water spin classes, karaoke and shows and live music at Legends. The staff were incredibly friendly and truly elevated the experience. Tanya (manager at Lola Beach), Norma and Luis (servers at Lola Beach), and Martin (pool side server) exceeded every expectation. The rooms were decent size and clean, but dated. Humidity is evident with some mildew spots in the shower. The food experience was a bit disappointing. I highly recommend upgrading to Club Level, but wait until you arrive. We declined it the first day, then upgraded the last 2 days after seeing the breakfast options at the buffet. Club Level does get you access to Lola Beach for breakfast, which really was the best dining we experienced. I found it disappointing that the website states Club Level gets you reservations to restaurants, only to find out this is not true. Additionally, there was a large party who was able to reserve Capri Grille for 1.5 hours. There were no signs posted and when we arrived for dinner at 6:30, we were told to return at 7:30 to get a table. We asked if we needed reservations and were told we did not. We returned at 7:40 only to be told there would be a 40 minute wait because we had not put our name on the list. So, off to Lola Beach (again). Dining options become limited after a few days."

"Fabian gave us excellent room service. The food was excellent. The beach was not really usable because of all the seagrass. This was our second stay at this property and we will not return again."

"First impression is everything and the hotel looks better in person than in pictures, but the checking lack of information. The person who checked us in didn't provided any information of the hotel, he referred us to another person who told us that we were obligated to sit on a 90 minutes time share talk which we didn't agreed on point. Then while we were waiting for a room, we went to the beach and sit on an available chair and this guy came out of nowhere telling me that the area was for club members and I needed to get up. I told the guy to give me a few minutes until my wife and daughter came back and they guy told me; you got 5 minutes to move or we are going to charge you $55. I talked to two people about the situation and nothing was done. The food was not that great for Mexico which was weird. The only good thing was the waiters were nice and friendly. Hotel has potential but wrong staff"

"Beautiful resort. Suggest having options available for people who have later flights - i.e. more generous late checkout options or at least access to lockers and showers. Candidly, for the cost, the resort had limited things to do aside from sitting by the pool."

"A mixed review. Some of the staff are exceptional and go above and beyond - they work extremely hard in a busy/challenging environment. Beautiful setting also. However, we were overrun by those attending an event at the conference centre and our experience was negatively impacted as a result - bar areas closed off. Reduced staff. No wait list system operated for diving/activities so my husband very nearly missed out because of a last minute late booking despite the fact that he had been in contact with the hotel 3 months prior and as soon as he arrived - had he not argued about it he wouldn’t have got to go diving. The food at the beach restaurant was terrible. Others in our group paid extra for a lagoon view and didn’t get one (due to the big booking). Prior guests leftover dinner (mouldy) left in room fridge. Mini bar not provided until asked (even though we were all inclusive). Surprise extra charges at the spa. No details of what is/isnt included in all inclusive provided as check-in. Overall it has the potential to be incredible but they need more staff, particularly when hosting conferences so as to not make paying holiday guests feel like second rate citizens. It’s was not a cheap holiday - I expected more. "
