"Zero complaints - pool area is great, the grounds are beautiful and the rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating, restaurants are very close by and the hotel in general is very well maintained. We would definitely stay again."

"I needed a place to stay last minute in Toronto and the Royal Oak Inn was a good price in the right area. I arrived late in the evening having made a reservation 1.5 hours prior and had no issues checking in. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite, welcoming, and helpful. Check in was very quick, and he had great food suggestions close-by (East Coast Donair was the right choice). No elevators, but I only had a small bag with me so no problems being on the second floor. My room was relatively clean-not perfect but nothing I was concerned about. The bed was comfortable and I was able to get a great sleep. Check-out was 11am and It was as easy as check-in. The staff were definitely the most memorable for me. Both people I interacted with were very nice."

"The hotel is in a great location, and the price was very reasonable compared with other options. The amenities were excellent, especially the cafeteria. We did not realize that breakfast and lunch were included, and the food was actually very good. One thing that was our mistake was that we did not fully understand that this was more like a university residence than a traditional hotel. Therefore, the rooms were very basic. The beds were typical of a university dorm and were not very comfortable. The sheets and towels were also of poor quality, and the beds were not properly made. Overall, it was a good experience considering the location, price, and amenities, but the rooms and bedding could definitely be improved."
