"Beautifully located with views over lake and hills. Great manor house wooded interior with a maze of landings and hallways. Decorated in a great jumble of styles. Breakfast was excellent, served and cooked well. Room was clean and well maintained. Definitely would return. Grumps…no wifi on top bedrooms. Heating was controlled centrally and was chilly."

"Stayed for 2 nights with a dog. Hotel in the process of refurbishment. Our room was lovely, great view of the large beer garden with a short walk to the lake. Very friendly staff and good food. 20 min walk into Keswick which is very dog friendly too. Will be back. "

"Amazing stay at a beautiful property. Just off the Coast to Coast walk, this hotel was a perfect place to recover from a long walk. And the all-day tea/coffee and scones was a lifesaver. The rooms were nice and the food was delicious. Could not recommend more. They even had a place to fill up water bottles/bladders next to a gear drying room, which was a nice touch. "

"On driving in to Irton Hall, first impressions very nice… beautiful peacocks on the front lawn. Really Stunning. The staff were all exceptional, friendly and very polite and approachable. We were Checked in really quickly and given our room key .(no16) the room was huge and really nice. The view over the grounds with mountains was just perfect. Bed was really comfy, with crisp white bedding and nice pillows.Bathroom was great. Powerful shower, and a Jacuzzi bath which was very much needed after...
