"The hotel is nice but for the same price I would stay across at the faitmong. It Took 1.5 hours to check in. We were told that our room was not ready and to come back when we received a text, which was totally fine. When I came back, there was at least 60 people in line to check in or waiting for keys. I ended up phoning the hotel and I was told to “skip the line”. So I proceeded to the front and then was told I would have to line up. After almost 45 minutes they had helped maybe 4 people. I called the help line again and was told the same thing. I said there was a huge line up and that it was unacceptable to only have 3 people at reception for a huge cheerleading event. I was told it was an “expected event”. Varsity cheer is planned a full year ahead. "

One downside was the shared bathroom setup—noise travels very easily. If your neighbor is up early (in my case from 4:45 to 8:00 a.m.) watching Tiktoks and using the bathroom, you’ll hear everything. On a positive note, the staff were very kind and helpful. In the morning, they even called the guest to pass along my message, which I really appreciated. "
