I loved it! The room was gorgeous, spacious and just right for my sister and I on my birthday eve. Breakfast was great and I am pleased. I didn’t realise it was above a pub but that wasn’t a problem. Free parking and 10mins drive to city centre. The AC in the room wasn’t functional but there was a back up fan that helped somewhat.

Really nice views of the marina from the front rooms. Nice breakfast selection in a relaxed atmosphere. The bathroom doors have been changed recently and are much better than before with the sliding doors. Overall highly recommended for a relaxing stay if you want to be by the marina. The Undercliff walk is a really scenic good walk not too far from the hotel through Asda’s car park also

Beautiful hotel with excellent amenities and attention to detail. Attentive, lowkey staffing. The comfiest bed and lovely linens, with powerful aircon. I have no notes! Would absolutely stay here again. Food was great, too. Pricey but absolutely worth it.

We had an excellent stay at The Grand Brighton and found the room, restaurant, bar, and staff services to be exceptional. The location was fabulous offering convenient access to surrounding areas and a gorgeous view of the ocean. On the last night of our stay, the battery on our keypad failed (along with a few other rooms), and we were not able to get into our room for several hours. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. My only issue was the room was quite warm until I figured out that hose on the portable air conditioner was not attached to the unit.

The food was fantastic & plentiful. It was a friendly and generous attitude. I was treated as family. I was there as memorial to my brother & his wife who lived Brighton; sadly they are both gone ....I really needed that friendliness 😳🌹 thank you

We are so happy to have found Duck Lodge outside Brighton proper. Located in a safe rural picturesque village, it is an easy train ride into Brighton and you won’t have to hassle with parking and crowds. Lovely staff - so thoughtful and accommodating! I arrived early, coming immediately from a very long & tiring international flight. I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. I have some food, allergies and they were able to work within those restrictions, and provide delicious fresh flavorful meals. The location near the sea & pier was excellent. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Felt like family. Bathroom is a bit small, but that's to be expected so not an issue. Breakfast buffet was great, one of the best at any small hotel we've stayed.

This was an amazing property! Very clean. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Very quiet country setting. Definitely a great place for a destination wedding or special event. The art gallery and shop had some really great finds. If we had more time, we would have loved to stay longer:)

Basic but plenty nice. A block from the coastline bus. Two blocks from the Brighton Pier. Pleasant breakfast. Easy check-in and nice staff. An Expedia sweet spot.
