The staff are all fantastic, friendly, helpful, and even though they are all busy they are all really cheerful and take time to interact with you. Yes, admittedly the rooms look a little tired and dated, but they are clean, have everything you need and more importantly I sleep like a log here as the bedding is lovely and the beds extremely comfortable. "Room was infested with moths. Breakfast menu stated back bacon but only served streaky which was more fat than meat, eggs were severely undercooked. Danielle at hotel reception was very helpful."

"My second visit in 2 months based on my first, very positive experience. Again I booked the dinner, bed and breakfast package for a similar value to a bed and breakfast stay elsewhere. I was given a room on the ground floor close to the dining area and rear entrance which suited me fine. Parking was easy and dinner was tremendous. I went for the same walk to Chawton. A great night's sleep was followed by a great breakfast and I left again very fulfilled with my accommodation experience."

"Rooms were small, but adequate. Both sets of parents stopped in these rooms as they were there for our wedding. They found the rooms to be quite warm and my parents struggled to open the patio doors as the latch at the top was quite high up. The rest was ok."
