"We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. "

"Vi fik den smukkeste udsigt som vi havde bestilt. Vi havde dog også bestilt med aircondition men det krævede at vi fandt informationerne i vores booking før hotellet gav os adgang til aircondition. "We booked a room that had a beautiful terrace looking onto the garden but the room they gave us was in the back so it got no light and the terrace faced a wall. We complained and they said the photos online are just examples. Not good value for money and the photos are deceiving. "

"My favourite hotel. Luana, Rio and the team are very hospitable and helpful. They organized a private boat tour for us and provided lovely restaurant recs across the island. Cava Grado is very special! With such close proximity to the beach makes an easy stay. See you next summer! "

"AC wasn’t working for 2 out of 3 nights. Bathroom layout was a bit awkward to get around and had black mould in the shower. Bed bugs and dusty bed sheets. On the upside a really nice cafe outside and pizza restaurant. Good connection with the train line. View from the balcony was also stunning for the price we paid. But given the chance I’d pay more for better services and cleanliness during our stay elsewhere next time. "

"I stayed for 1 night at Villa Tina. I had a pleasant stay, mainly due to the very friendly atmosphere from the family that owns the place. Nicely decorated and the food is good. The distance to the town centre is about 10 minutes by foot which I thought was alright. The reason why I give the hotel a bit low scores is because it feels a bit run down, the toilet in my room was working very poorly and I couldnt really use the pool because it looked quite dirty. It was a bit of a disappointment as...
