"Check in was easy and they had given us an upgrade which was a bonus. Room very comfortable and clean. Tea, coffee machine and proper milk. A very special treat were some sweet treats. Had an evening meal and both chose burgers which we enjoyed. Small menu but was ok. Excellent sleep in a huge bed, room very dark so slept in. Breakfast had a good choice that was cooked to order. Can recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast. All the staff were friendly and worked hard. Thank you"

"Our room was slightly small but the bed was very comfortable and clean. The heated towel rail didn’t seem to be working, probably turned off with the heating so our towels didn’t dry well, although we could have asked for fresh ones, prefer to reuse. There was plenty of easy parking. The breakfast had a good choice of hot food. It was good to have a lounge room as we were staying along with two other couples so we were able to meet there."

"Lovely hotel, fantastic staff, my only slight negative is our room was at the top of the hotel with very low ceilings and I spent most of the time in the room having to duck or be otherwise hunched over. I'd definitely stay again though, but ideally not in that room."
