"The hotel was very good, staff were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very good in both days. Our evening meal on Saturday evening was excellent. On the Sunday morning, we had drinks in the hotel garden which were brought to us by bar staff. The only negative thing was that I had booked a small double room and small it was. So really that was an error on my part so I would definitely book this hotel again, but booking a larger room with a larger double bed. All in all a great place to stay, thank you to all the staff that made it that way."

"We had booked three rooms out for ourselves and other family members. The property is in a brilliant location. There is no onsite service parking but free parking outside the front of the property. The entry instructions given were clear. All of the rooms had everything that you need in there. They are not very big rooms but big enough if only used to sleep in which is what we used it for. There was a well stocked welcome basket in each room which was a lovely touch which contained sweets, crisps, biscuits and bottled water. There are shops within walking distance of there is more that you need. We would happily stay here again"

"The house is beautiful, and although it's old, it's perfectly restored, with many thoughtful details and very well decorated. The beds are very comfortable, and it has everything you need. It was very clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent for exploring other towns in the area. The town itself is charming. The only downside is a very steep staircase, which wasn't a problem for us, but it's something to be aware of. I would definitely return."

"A gorgeous cottage, perfectly positioned for our Cotswold stay with EVERYTHING you could possibly wish for. Hosts were exceptional at communicating, a lovely welcome package was a nice touch, beds super comfy with nice bedding, I soaked in the freestanding bath every night, we lit a fire on more than one occasion and sat out in the garden. Wonderful views and a short walk to the local shop and cafe, and opposite a pub! What more could you wish for?!We’ll be back!"

"My friend and I came back to The Knoll in Blockley High Street for our fifth visit last week, and found it as desirable as ever. It is warm and comfortable and has all the equipment we need. Being an old, 4 storey building, the bedroom and bathroom on the top floor necessarily have low ceilings, but this is an occupational hazard in Cotswold cottages. There were a few little niggles this time, such as the concealment of the information folder, some expired light bulbs and the oven going on strike, but these were soon dealt with by the team. Thanks to more explicit written instructions - vital for non-techies - we even came to grips with the smart tv and the dvd player. Blockley is an excellent centre for days out, is close to Moreton station, and is well served by buses, which we were delighted to see were being used by more people than in the past. And there is now a bus service on Sundays! I can highly recommend Blockley, The Knoll and Stay Cotswold."
