"Had a lovely long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday with the family and we’re lucky to have glorious weather. The owner was very friendly and on hand if needed. The barn is quite stunning. A huge space with plenty of room for the children to tire themselves out! The open plan stairs proved a great attraction to a crawling baby so we had to be on our guard as there isn’t a stair gate available. ( we knew this on booking) The beds were very comfortable. It was an interesting place to stay, and have the opportunity to live in an Eco house. The heat pump provided a constant temperature, noticed by a friend staying with us who suffers with arthritis."

"My friend and I came back to The Knoll in Blockley High Street for our fifth visit last week, and found it as desirable as ever. It is warm and comfortable and has all the equipment we need. Being an old, 4 storey building, the bedroom and bathroom on the top floor necessarily have low ceilings, but this is an occupational hazard in Cotswold cottages. There were a few little niggles this time, such as the concealment of the information folder, some expired light bulbs and the oven going on strike, but these were soon dealt with by the team. Thanks to more explicit written instructions - vital for non-techies - we even came to grips with the smart tv and the dvd player. Blockley is an excellent centre for days out, is close to Moreton station, and is well served by buses, which we were delighted to see were being used by more people than in the past. And there is now a bus service on Sundays! I can highly recommend Blockley, The Knoll and Stay Cotswold."

"Great hotel, our room was lovely, my only gripe would be that we had to ask for more coffee pods as you only get 4. The reception staff were lovely & very helpful. They also have plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel."

"We had a lovely couple of nights at the White Hart. Very good meals (breakfast and dinner) and helpful staff. The room had quirks not unexpected in an old hotel (eg. slopey floors!) but was comfortable, nicely decorated and equipped)."

"Beautiful cottage with well appointed features and Cotswold charm. Adults and kids both loved it. As a fan of the Father Brown series the fact that the lovely village of Blockley doubles as Kembleford was an unexpected bonus."

"We had a fantastic stay at this incredibly spacious house, which was perfect for a surprise birthday weekend for my partner and her friends. The house is huge, with plenty of room in every bedroom, making it ideal for a group. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, so we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We especially loved the cosy fire in the lounge and the wonderfully powerful showers — both were real highlights after a day out exploring.The garden is also really impressive. Although we didn’t get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked due to the lack of sunshine, it was still beautiful to look out over and clearly a lovely space in better weather.Blockley itself is a truly beautiful village and feels much more peaceful than some of the busier Cotswolds spots that attract large crowds. It’s well served locally, and we had a great dinner one evening at the Great Western pub. There are also fantastic running routes and walks right from the village, with some stunning countryside nearby.We would absolutely recommend staying here and would happily come back again."

"Lovely house, clean, well stocked, good location, large modern Co op very close by. Easy walk into Moreton in Marsh, easy journey to other villages. We managed to park two cars outside the property. Enjoyed our stay"
