"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat.
We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, itâs in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, thereâs a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music "

"A lovely stay in a perfect place for our family. Superbly located to be able to see all the amazing things there are to see in the area supported by the lovely family and owners of the property.The owners cared about our stay and were very keen to help us and support questions, but most of all were lovely and we even had the pleasure of meeting their grandchildren.Also, Carlux is a lovely spot and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the annual Crepes festival."

"Great location and well appointed rooms overlooking the lovely pool. Well equipped and scrupulously clean. The hosts, Gladis and Ian were attentive and welcoming.
The buffet style offer at breakfast is served individually and was fresh and a great set up for exploring the Dordogne.
The dinners served in the evening were fantastic; prepared entirely in house and using the finest local ingredients. Iâm rarely so impressed and I canât think of when Iâve had better.
A wonderful experience at a surprisingly modest price.
