"This is a wonderful boutique property in a very safe area. There is a cafe on the corner and is only 5 mins from the main shopping in Chester with so many options for dining and relaxing. The staff were very welcoming and this was the best hotel stay I can remember. "
"Highly recommend, unique rooms and brilliant staff, in the heart of Chester! Got upgraded to the Secret Garden and it was great! Stayed before in the Safari room which has its own jacuzzi bathtub which was brilliant! This time opted for another room as it safari was booked, but the upgrade was great! "We stsyed in the annexe which was a few minutes walk from the hotel. It was spacious and well equipped.
Beds were large and comfortable and it was a quiet road but not far from shops."

The majority of the rooms are in the building across the parking lot from the hotel restaurant and river. Partial view river views look across the parking lot and are quite limited but pleasant. "
"A fantastic 2 night stay. Bed and pillows were comfortable, however there were no drawers for underwear. Great menu selection so we had dinner in the hotel both nights which was really tasty. Bar area was spacious and had a good vibe even though it was through the week. Loads to choose from at buffet breakfast

"The staff in every section were fantastic, Cheerful, helpful and very polite. Food was cooked to perfection, Breakfast had plenty of choice and would cook extra things for you if they had it. For us, a couple in our 70's it was absolutely 100% perfection and if we come back to Chester again we will certainly be staying here."

"We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site
