"They were kind of rude about us wanting to carry our own luggage. Our “lake view” room we wanted was not lake view. It faced the other building and you could barely see the lake. Having a kid who wanted to swim, they had us on the 25th floor. And came to clean our room, they took all of our towels and gave us one new one for 3 ppl. We had to go find someone to get more towels. And we had to ask twice for more coffee cups. The lady in the gift shop was awesome! Probably the nicest person we ran...

"Great location… However, they did not tell us that either the air-conditioning or the heater would work… Not both… Although it was Thanksgiving weekend and it was cold outside the room was very stuffy. Also the bathroom seemed like an industrial toilet…. Overall very beautiful property, but definitely needs a few upgrades."

"Our room was given to someone else upon arrival. The staff stated our card had declined when in fact, it was a security check from our bank that we did clear, and should have been charged following clearance. We basically arrived and didn’t have a room anymore. I would assume this is fairly common that banks would require customers to verify a transaction in a different city, but instead of reaching out to us, the hotel gave our room to someone else and we were left having to book a different...
