The Lodge at Flat Rock

"This was our first stay at The Lodge in Flat Rock and what an incredible experience. From the moment we came in to book a room at the last minute in route to Cherokee to the checkout the following day, the staff treated us like we were family. Like we were the number one customer there and we were the most important folks there. We also witnessed that same attitude and conduct toward everyone that entered or was leaving, if just for dinner. We will 100% definitely stay there again and encourage anyone looking for a rustic western stay, with phenomenal staff, this is your place. They had an indoor pool, a covered fire pit area with a small waterfall cascading off the mountain right by the relaxing area. IF I made one suggestion, they need to improve what is available in the snack store and personal products that you may need or had forgotten. Breakfast had a chef preparing everything you or even the kids would definitely enjoy."

"Great location and in vicinity/walking to Reedy Falls, shops, food & ice cream, and Grand Bohemian Lodge, too! Walk the pathway along the river and seeing the boulder water falls was exceptionally special! Balcony was a nice view of city life. Parking for a fee was conveniently located for access to the property. Kitchen was large and equipped well for simple dinner. The Laundry room with detergent was useful, too!"

"Had some issues with the room but they were minor. The door was difficult to close and lock without having to lean against the door to lock it. The upper lock was loose (safety issue). The grab bar in shower also needed some tightening. For the price, I thought it would be better. I did enjoy my stay though. Just pointing out a few things that could easily be fixed checking between guests."
