"great staff - note that for check-in, you may need to go into the bar. That was the only complain - the superior room was spacious enough for the 2 of us -great staff and very accommodating for early breakfast 1 day"

"the whole experience was fantastic, a warm welcome by all staff. we had an issue with our heating not working in our room, an attempt was made twice to repair it but unsuccessful, we went out for Dinner and was offered another room late evening, although the offer was appreciated we felt it was to late to move. all in all a very lovely hotel and we will hopefully return soon. "Beautiful cottage in the middle of Cornwall surrounded by beautiful countryside. Everything you could possibly need to be comfortable. Car absolutely essential to get to many of the places one would like to visit in that part of Cornwall, e.g. the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Padstow, etc. Narrow lanes to drive to get anywhere but in September, not much traffic on the road, so it was okay. Food access - supermarket or restaurants not close, so plan well. Great place for a few days of rest and relaxation."
