"The room has amazing black out curtains and it was very quiet in the room. The only downside is there was no mini fridge in the room. Hotel is close to earls court and there’s a supermarket about 1 min away. I would stay again but next time get a studio with a fridge."

Safestay London Kensington Holland Park

Safestay London Kensington Holland Park

8/10 Good
"I returned to the hostel after a long break. I used to love it a lot ... but then saw many bad reviews. However, reviews have generally improved over past month or so. I was quite happy with my stay. Clean room & staff were friendly, ESPECIALLY a young Italian lady who was so helpful, when she was in during day hours. Only problem is that, I, like many previous guestswho were very unhappy, also found that, on arrival I was moved to a different room from my booking - which is apparently !! under maintenance. I especially was not happy with the change to a room with no en-suite bathroom (from what I had booked!). This was changed on my request! (I understand that some previous reviewers were NOT allowed to question their new room! Further, charging an extra £2 per night for a bottom bed is definitely a first-time ever experience... after staying 40+ hostels in over 10 countries. It does not make sense at all ... !!"
