"The manor house and estate was spectacular. We were a little disappointed in that we booked to stay in this wonderful manor, but upon arrival we were told that our room was located in a small house on the property about 400yards from the manor house by the entrance gate. It was referred to at the "lodge" Reception staff were efficient, but not exactly friendly. The breakfast was exceptional."

"The Bloc Hotel was a perfect location for a layover at Gatwick. Plane to hotel took about half an hour and I was in my room relaxing within an hour. The room was small but perfect for the purpose of getting rest between flights. Staff were efficient and welcoming. Complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch. I actually overestimated the time it would take to get to my flight in the morning - security was very swift and it takes so little time to get to the flight I could have slept another half an hour. "
