"I stayed at this hotel over the weekend, and the experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. For the entire duration of our stay, there was no hot water available in either of our rooms. As a result, my children and the rest of my family were unable to take a proper shower for two consecutive days. This created a major inconvenience and significantly impacted what should have been a comfortable stay. When I approached the front desk to report the issue, the two staff members on duty showed absolutely no concern or empathy. Rather than apologizing for the inconvenience or offering any reassurance, they simply stated that "someone is working on it" in a dismissive and rude tone. There was no acknowledgment of how disruptive this situation was for paying guests. What made matters even worse was witnessing several other guests come to the front desk with the exact same complaint. The response they received was equally unprofessional. The front desk staff bluntly told them there was nothing they could do about the lack of hot water. They further stated that checkout time had already arrived and that guests would not be permitted to return to their rooms to verify whether the hot water had been restored unless they paid to book an additional night. The complete lack of hot water for two days was unacceptable, but the indifferent, rude, and unapologetic attitude displayed by the front desk staff was even more troubling. Paramount Times Square – A Generator Hotel

"The rooms are very basic and small but perfect for a cheaper option in the expensive city. We were basically just in the rooms to sleep so it worked out well. The only complaint was the door didn’t lock well and the shower didn’t drain. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, they offer $3 per bag luggage storage after checkout if you want to explore the city more which came in handy! I would stay again if I was ever back in NYC."

"The hotel’s location was excellent, which was definitely a positive aspect of my stay. However, I was disappointed with several things. The room did not have a refrigerator or a microwave, which made my stay less convenient. The bathroom shower was also extremely small and uncomfortable to use. The breakfast was another disappointment. There were very few options available, and guests were limited to choosing only one item. This was not what I expected based on the information provided when I booked the hotel. What disappointed me the most was the additional fee of $46 per day charged by the hotel. This fee was not clearly disclosed during the reservation process, and I felt surprised by this extra cost upon arrival. Overall, the hotel did not meet my expectations, especially considering the additional charges and the lack of basic amenities"

"The location is excellent, close to everything, but you can hear street noise in the rooms. The grab-and-go breakfast only has three boring options. Also, the shower area doesn't have a door, and the bathroom floods every time it's used. You have to use the towels to dry the floor."

"Our room was not clean upon arrival. Our sheets were dirty and there was mold in the ceiling in my shower. I was disappointed to say the least. The staff provided vouchers for breakfast one morning and I felt that more of a discount would have been appropriate. I am a Bonvoy member and didn’t find the stay the most pleasant. We spent a lot of time out of the room purposely."
