Gorgeous place with wonderfully helpful staff and excellent food!

I stayed at the Bell and Bottle Hotel for a week and found it to be excellent value for money. It's an Indian restaurant with guest rooms on the second floor (no elevator). The room and bathroom were spacious, and while there was no air conditioning, the fan kept the room comfortable. The Wi-Fi was a bit weak, but everything else met my expectations. Perfect for a one-night stay. Staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very clean. The shower was great and the bathroom was spotless. Best part was the included breakfast - lots of choice and good quality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Stayed one night after a long drive through France and a ferry crossing, just to break up the journey. Arrived with tired kids and weary parents. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, the room was a good size and with good amenities. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, very impressed indeed. Far exceeded my expectations. Would definately stay again. Thank you Holiday Inn.

Location location location. It's lovely and a 2 minute walk to down town. Their outside seating is magnificent, and a front desk, and concierge/bell staff are first rate in a myriad of ways. Super helpful, kind, knowledgeable...make you feel most welcome. Overall... in appearance, it needs a little refresh, but it is very clean and the rooms have size and lots of light. Parking is more than ample, easy and close to the front desk/your room, so that's nice and easy to go back to your car...

Molly at the front desk was cheerful, welcoming, and absolutely perfect to greet us after our long flight. Stewart is an absolute gem—sweet, kind, and someone who genuinely goes out of his way to help in any way he can. We would stay here again. Very comfortable staff was so nice and friendly resturant is wonderful fish and chips were amazing.

Beautiful hotel

Excellent breakfast. Air conditioning was very much appreciated during heat spell. Bar staff regularly and kindly gave my wife ice for her water. Parking sometimes a challenge but we always found a spot. Enjoyed our stay very much.
