The check in was a little slow as the women who is the mother of the owner Ann, was a little green and it took a bit longer than I would have liked. "The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"This resort was the most Magical and Peaceful place I've ever stayed. The staff deserves a raise because of how attentive and nice they were. The breakfast was so delicious and there was endless options to choose from. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to leave the property. The only suggestion I would have is to offer dessert on their menu. But I would recommend Tombo House to anyway who wants to enjoy nature and wants to get away from the boring ambience of chain hotels."

"We upgraded to stay in a villa closest to the beach. Well worth the extra money! The resort is located right on Diani Beach. The beach and ocean views are breathtaking. There are many activities offered to the guests. We went scuba diving, glass bottom boat ride, rode a camel, jet skiing and played volleyball. The food and drinks were very good. You won't be hungry or thirsty during your stay. The staff are amazing. Edward from the front desk was very helpful and a pleasure to meet."

"The receptionist, I believe her name was Tricia, is very communicative, warm, and inviting. Their service was excellent, we had a great time there, and I would definitely recommend it and return."

"Great place to stay. I liked the food and the staff, very friendly. However, the local vendors can be a little aggressive and intimidating. They had events nightly on the resort so really no need to leave resort. Ran into some minor issue with Wi-Fi and room selections. Overall I would definitely return, minus the bees and flies. "
