"We stayed at this hotel last minute when our flight into Venice was delayed and we arrived in the evening. We didn't have high expectations since we hadn't had time to research, but were extremely pleasantly surprised. We found the hotel to be charming, and the main piazza of Mestre to be lovely. We ate dinner at Fratteli la Bufala around the corner and it was the best pizza of our trip. We took the local bus into Venice the next day which was easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend Venice tourists consider staying here instead of actually in Venice as it is much more affordable, has less of a tourist-overload feel, and was a very pleasant stay! I would stay here again and recommend it to friends."

"Convenience - my one word summary. A solid 4+ star. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Did not match the pictures though - room was carpeted, no wood flooring - not a deal breaker. No USB charging ports in my room and make sure to bring your power adapters. Highly recommend you sign up for the daily breakfast - wide variety of options. Parking - public covered parking close to the hotel costs €22 daily. However, if you park at Star Parking located behind the hotel, you can get a special €14 daily rate. It’s outdoor parking on a first come first serve basis and you have to let the hotel validate your ticket at checkout. Icing. Right across the street from the train station. For €1.50 you can take Trenitalia into Venice, Santa Lucia - about a 10 minute ride - air conditioned, very comfortable, hardly any wait. Also an ACTV bus stop and ticket vending machine is in the middle of the street across from the hotel. ACTV operates a bus and water bus (boat) line in the heart of Venice. For €25 you can get a daily pass for unlimited bus and boat rides they operate. They also have two and three day passes. Bus line number 2 takes you directly from the hotel to the bus depot in Venice, Santa Lucia. About a 15 minute ride. Bus is not air conditioned and can get crowded. If you just want a one way bus ticket, it’s €1.50. You can purchase your ACTV passes in advance. They don’t activate till you validate them the very first time…. Complete review on Google."

"Staff was excellent as was the building/ Only issue was the AC. Having to put and keep key in slot for AC is terrible, We wood leave in the early morning come back mid to late in the afternoon and temp. in the room was terrible. It would take until late evening to cool back down/ The staff was great and unbelievably helpful and nice"

"Overall everything was good. It is clean and nice with very good staff. A few tips: 1- there is a bus no.2 5 min walk from the hotel to take you to Venice ( 15-20min journey). 2- you can buy your ticket from the hotel reception 3 - although we filtered hotels with breakfast in Expedia, breakfast was not included. It costs 16 Euros per person per day ( nice continental breakfast). The corossant and tea/ coffee breakfast option is available for 5.5 Euros. We should say in particular our appreciation to a lady who was in charge of breakfast services during our stay. She was so organized, responsible, and seroius in her work. I hope that the hotel managerial staff, appreciate her enough as a team member in their business."
