"Outstanding service! From the beginning to the end. We had an amazing trip thanks to the wonderful staff and great hotel accommodations. The food was amazing at all the restaurants. The parks were amazing and the all around vibe had us wanting to stay longer. Be warned the hotel is huge, which leads to aot of walking. On one of the park days my wife sustained a small sprain and on the way back to our room Osvaldo noticed us. He assited my wife to a place to sit and called a medic to help. Both the medic and Osvaldo were extremely caring and kind. We want to give them a huge thank for going above and beyond. It really helped us enjoy the rest of our time there."

"Very nice comfortable, clean and quiet hotel for 8 days. Super nice staff. Good and varied breakfast. Gym basic but sufficient Close to some restaurants by foot and supermarket for groceries and we used the local colectivios to get back and forth to downtown for 10 pesos each. Super convenient (just make sure it says BOTH 30/30 and sorianna on it - we learned the hard way lol) You are not close to a beach but the upstairs pool deck was lovely and not busy at all. It is next to a major road. You will hear some road noise but wasn’t bad and heard nothing in the room They include free transfer from airport and rtn. Very pleased. We will be back again. "

"We loved the jungle setting to the grounds, the beds were very comfortable, the buffet food was very good and varied pretty well every day. Excellent pools and access to the beach. Super friendly staff everywhere. "

"We had a great vacation during Christmas 2025 at Viva Maya. Large buffet with lots of different options, and when the buffet was closed they have a kitchen by the pool. Make sure to make reservations for the A La Carte restaurants right when you arrive for the rest of your stay, you will not get in same day or even 1 day before. The mexican restaurant and staff there were so much fun. The staff that stood out for us were Jose Luis at Cafe Maya, which has the best coffee, frappes, and smoothies. Luis who worked at adult pool December 27. And the other gentleman I forgot to take his name down, who was working adult pool Dec 25 & 26. He was so patient, quick, nice and respectful. The adult pool was the best. Zero noise except for the birds. Own bar and bathroom. That is usually the only place you can get a chair as well as the beach was always filled with people putting their towels on it. The location is very safe as it is a gated community with homes and resorts and golf course. Even going out of the resort it was lovely seeing Playacar and the ruins that are very close, which you can rent bikes for free and get there within minutes. There was no wifi in the room at all, and when you were in a spot that is populated the wifi stopped working. We were on the 3rd floor (top) if that makes a difference. Insanely talented shows at 9:30pm each night, was better than our Cirque du Soleil show we went to. Would absolutely recommend and go to this resort again. "
