"Location is SUPERB. Steps into St Marco Sq. On a basin which houses Gondolas. You can sit out on the basin and what the Gondoliers at work. So pretty. Staff were fabulous. Lovely bar and bar tender - played blues for me. Breakfast included. We had a basin view room on the corner which was beautiful. Comfy bed and good linen. I have been to Venice many times, and can highly recommend this hotel. Very romantic, old world charm and comfortable. "

"Great room with a view of the canal. The staff were very friendly. Hotel is a bit off the beaten path , but it is only a 15 minute walk to city centre and shopping. The breakfast was great with lots of optik s, and coffee made to your liking. Would definitely stay here again"

"We stayed in the newer part of the hotel. No view but it was a nice room and the staff was absolutely wonderful. It was walking distance from the train and we hired a porter to carry all our luggage (on a cart),, over the many bridges. They served a tea that was quite nice and they had an outdoor area with tables and chairs. Definitely would stay here again. Clean and comfortable."
