This is a stylish hotel, clean and convenient, with good food. My room had no desk, so it is not convenient for business.

This hotel was the best out of the hotels we stayed at on our two week trip (3 hotels total). If you’re looking for a great hotel in Kyoto it’s this hotel. Room was clean and beautiful. Bed was excellent (all other beds we slept on were hard and bad). Bathroom was great! Close to the subway and bus stop (use the bus - super easy, fast and clean). Next door to convenience store (very helpful). Blocks from Kyoto station (also very helpful). One block from a beautiful shrine. Coin-op laundromat...

This hotel is sheer perfection. The room, the location, the staff, the authentic Japanese experience. I came here for my 55th birthday and it was such a hidden gem. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being exceptional, I give Kyoto Takasegawa Bettei 15 !!!

Accessibility to the station, bus lines, convenient stores and restaurants. Room was clean, has everything one needs, spacious, washer/dryer combo, kitchen, and zen large window floor/ceiling wall/wall was so fun watching the rain coming down the rain catchers. Staff, each and everyone were kind, respectful and caring. I would stay here again and consider it, my little secret spot.

Our host was incredible and made for an unforgettable first-time trip to Japan.

The front desk staff was amazing at this apartment style hotel. I wasn't expecting first class service but we definitely got it! They provided us a dinner recommendation, booked the taxi and booked the table. It was one of the best dinners we had in Japan and was in Pontocho Alley, which is a pretty popular area! The room was beautiful, everything was comfortable. Had a great experience!

Staying at this hotel was definitely a highlight of our trip. The location is unbeatable—right across from Kyoto Station, but as soon as you step inside, it's like entering another world. It's so peaceful that you'd never guess you were just steps from the hustle and bustle of the station. The rooms were sleek, comfortable, and had a modern vibe. We are family of 4 (2 adults and 2 11 yrs old). We stayed here for 3 nights. This place met all our expectations. Staffs were super helpful and friendly. We arrived early and our room was not available. They held our luggage for us and moved it in our room when room became available. We loved our room. Room is spacious, clean. Cetral location. Great spa n breakfast. Stunning brfst view of Temple. 3 min to nearby Garden. Walking distance from Kyoto Station. Nearby Hiro yakiniku is unforgettable.

Hotel Imagine is so unique, exhibiting the owner's passion for detail. The room fit our family of four very comfortably and we loved the shower/ofuro which I enjoyed every night after a long day of walking and sightseeing! While there was no breakfast included, there is a full-service kitchen with great amenities. We made our breakfeast every morning and the coffee machine was wonderful! There was also a very nice upstairs deck which we were not able to enjoy since we were out sightseeing...

We absolutely loved the onsen/natural springs! The room was very stylish and lovely. The hotel really relaxed us after a day of sightseeing. Nothing like a good soak to relax your mind AND body! We stayed in two other hotels during our 8 night stay in Japan and we voted this one our favorite!
