"Our room was dated but spotlessly clean. Overall the hotel felt tired and lacked atmosphere particularly in the bar and restaurant areas. The awful rusty radiator was particularly off-putting in the bar area. However, the resort is perfectly geared towards a young family with lots of activities and of course the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. We had a great few nights away and our kids loved their time in Aviemore. "

"A lovely warm welcome from Gill and Ken, who went out of there way to make our stay special. They offered an optional breakfast and so glad we went for it. All prepared and cooked by Gill and it was delicious. "

"Easy to check in. Access was via a door code that you get sent on the morning of your stay, so you could come and go as you please. Easy to park right outside the door. Amazing location for access to the centre of Aviemore. Everything was in walking distance. Nice room with a kitchenette. The only issue was the noise from some of the other rooms. I'm not sure if the walls are thin or we were just unlucky with noisy neighbours! I would still stay again though! "

"Rooms are basic but hotel is family friendly and lots to do with the kids on site. The pool being closed for several hours in the afternoon on sat and sun isn’t ideal though. Breakfast was great and bar food fair enough. It wasn’t clear that it was only bbq food in the woodshed on Fridays "

"Great location. Some of the facilities are a bit outdated and could do with refurbishing. Accommodation was great just what we needed."
