"Park Dedeman is a great hotel to stay for business and vacation. Location is not exactly the best, but very affordable price to stay balances all that. I reserved two rooms, but one had problems with electricity. One of the female staff (It pains me that I forgot her name... I should've written it down somewhere) assisted us to switch rooms without zero hassle and friction. There's also a spa and gym you can use. Just a few steps outside, there is a mall, cafes and a few restaurant chains you...

"Inside the room was clean with ac and water bottles. But the door and the Frame itself wasn’t the most updated. Location was okay with quick walk to the bus route to the airport and main bus station. The breakfast was poor, I noticed the server bringing other plates of food look better than the plate I was given, mine had old brown apple slices and stale brown bread. Maybe the kitchen staff treated me less because I was a person of colour, probably. Front desk was ok and answered my questions. "

"The Plaza Hotel is a decent place to stay in Almaty. The rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is good but not amazing but as it’s a buffet I’m sure there’s plenty there to satisfy everyone. It’s not the most central hotel but the area around is safe and the river makes orientating yourself in the city quite easy. Get Yandex Go the ex-Soviet equivalent of Uber and getting around costs next to nothing and is very quick and efficient. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!...

"For the most part, the hotel was fine. It definitely needs an update. The 4th floor where I was on, was pitch black with no window opening. There was a window, but nothing to look out on, but a brick wall. When i turned the faucet on the first day, It splurged brown mud water. But after awhile of letting it run, it cleared off. I'm thinking the room was not in use for awhile. The breakfast was ok, nothing to write home about. But the staff is friendly and it was convenient and afordable. I would...
