"Lovely friendly, helpful staff, comfy beds, a great breakfast and a nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Building interior is a bit dated."

"Great breakfast, comfortable quiet and clean room"

"Fairly basic but clean . Manager was very nice guy . Probably over priced for what it is . But no real complaints for a drop off close to M6"

"Great location for pubs and restaurants. House was spotless from top to bottom. Nice touches in the room with homemade cake and chocolate bars to have with your tea/coffee."

"Nice stay here staff very friendly and helpful."

"This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing."

"The room and cottage were great. Very peaceful location to stay and explore the nearby area, including Penrith"

"Beautiful room, bathtub to soak my tired legs, great food and friendly staff. Couldn't recommend anymore if I tried as it's definitely the best place in the town."

"Amazing property, so clean and beautifully decorated inside. Staff were great too. Would highly recommend"
