"Great bar food and evening spent here after a long day walking. Even had sky sports. Single Room was good for what I wanted and bathroom facilities Good. Only down was noisy floor on the corridor outside rooms on first floor which creaked with every person walking the floor. Early morning or late evening. Needs a bit of work. Saying that it was good value for money amd would use the place again as access to Wast Water and area"

"The spa facilities are not finished yet but what they have is still enough to enjoy this hotel,good place to stay for a few days and if you get the jacuzzi room well that’s lovely."

"I cannot recommend this hotel more. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The team are friendly, so helpful, professional and efficient. If you are in the Barrow area and need accommodation this is the only place you should stay. Thank you team, you were all amazing. 6 stars if I could."

"Kellbank Hotel is a lovely place with friendly staff and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The room was a decent size, clean and comfortable for our stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, although the tables were a bit sticky in the morning. Overall, a pleasant visit."

"A lovely hotel with attached leisure facilities. A beautiful, peaceful setting next to a river. A former mill with an interesting history and a motor museum within easy walking distance. Room was spacious and clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. Both breakfast and evening meal were very good. Restaurant and bar staff were very attentive. We went in the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, all a very high standard. An excellent stay in an idyllic setting. Would highly recommend this hotel"

"The staff were amazing, so welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely. The hotel is undergoing an upgrade and we enjoyed delightful and unusual decor in a room that has just been decorated. There is a lively bar downstairs which we were warned could make the rooms noisy but we really just hardly heard the music in the background and it didn't go on very long anyway. Didn't eat there as we had other plans so can't comment. Free easy flexible parking on site."
