"The rooms could use updating. Staff friendly. The gym could use some more cardio equipment and updating. They were rusty and only 3 working treadmills. We did not have an ocean view."

"Great resort for families! The food is better than some other resorts we have been to, and the customer service was very good. We went as a group of 10 and the resort was really good about accommodating us at restaurants and there were large larger tables in the buffet area. There was a great recreation team that supported beach volleyball, aqua size and other activities. Easy to take the bus to and from downtown. A huge highlight, which I know may not be for some is that they have a really great gym and training facility. Would highly recommend this resort to other people."

"Everything very clean. Room view of ocean was great. Elite pool was nice and quiet. Staff very friendly. Restaurants were overall very good. We ate at the Asian, Krystal and Don Julios, as well as Elite.. Mostly disappointed in the Elite Restaurant. Food didn't have a lot of flavor. Also we didn't like that the people from the spa were often out asking if we wanted massage."

"While the location is great and access to SOME of the resorts amenities is a plus the listing needs to be updated to reflect the CURRENT situation that existed during my stay. The safe was not available. Towels are NOT provided at the Pool. A few other minor innaccuracies. Most Importantly what was not disclosed nor included in the lease agreement is that the Host REQUIRES the thermostats to be set to 71. 6 F and has them locked with signs to not touch them leaving you with no climate control. Based on previous reviews it appears that the maintenance issues have not been resolved and may he getting worse. One bathroom has a broken shower door and floods during showers. The other has water coming from places other than the shower which causes flooding that gets worse during and after showering. Finally, during our stay, the thermostat fell slowly from 71.6 degrees on checkin to 67 by the time we had no choice to check out early due to these conditions making it unlivable for us. While the host was responsive and sent someone to attempt to correct these issues they were not solved and continued deteriorating until checkout. The host DID treat us fairly with regards to allowing us to check out early with refund of unused days plus an extra night to compensate for inconvienience since I would not have booked this place if the climate control issue was disclosed. This is potentially a great property but needs work"
