"First off, staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal and close to essential tourist subways. Excellent coffee served there. Only two negatives was, checks ins could be anytime of the day or night. Which really left me exhausted the night before leaving japan and on other days. . And a problem I noted in a previous hostel, pillows can't be washed so previous sweat stains evident from previous guests, when you sweat, the smell is released. So sorry as the place was great. "

"9.5/10 - perfect place that is outside of the city's hustle and bustle but close to one of the oldest temples in Japan. You can easily access the train and Nakamise - dori street. I did the shared room but they have private room options. Linens were white and very clean spaces. "

"I stayed here for a week in February and I would likely stay here again - just knowing that the breakfast that is supposed to be included is a stack of Starbucks cards, $1,000 yen for each night you're staying. The shared dorm featured guests of all ages, not just the college/party aged crowd, and there was a mix of foreign tourists as well as locals in the 6-bunk landing where my top bunk was. Laundry worked well - make sure to bring your own detergent, there is none available in the laundry...

"1 Night ¥1980 Hotel is everything you could ask for and more out of a hotel with the lower nightly rate you pay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (coming from someone who doesn’t speak nearly any Japanese). The dorm areas had cleaning staff going through everyday ensuring garbages were emptied, bathrooms, floors, etc.., were clean. Only a 5 minutes walk to Iriya station so very easy to get around Tokyo. The space itself was very small so you could hear EVERYTHING very clearly. "Really great facilities, comfortable beds, and two great common areas to meet other travellers. Food drinks were delicious and the staff were super friendly with great recommendations. It is a bit further out from the main cities of Shinjuku and Shibuya but super close to the metro so location was still good (and way cheaper than anything in the main cities).
