"The landscape around is amazing, so beautiful. The street to get to the hotel is extremely narrow with cliffs on the sides. The bathrooms are across the hallway. There no dark shades in the windows so the morning light can disturb you. The room keys are the old type and require some skills to manage it. The hotel is ok to be far from the city noise. "

"Overall a great property. Definitely not a 2 star hotel. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, staff was great. Only issue we had was the location of the hotel. The views are breathtaking but to get to a bus or train station you need to walk at least 10-15 minutes on a road that has no sidewalk /footpath for most part. So, it's little risky. I suggest the hotel to start a shuttle service for a small charge from hotel to the bus stop every 15-30 minutes. It will go a long way and will address...

"Good location for our Interlaken visit. Short walk to the railway station. Breakfast was nice to get the day started. Rooms needed additional lighting and extra electrical outlets (especially one in the bathroom) would be nice. Tried to bring the lighting issue to managements attention but didn’t ever see someone to talk with during our 5 day visit."

"Lovely preserved hotel that brings you back in time right in the middle of Lauterbrunnen. Part of the front of the hotel was used in the James Bond movie “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” back in the 1960’s. The scenery from the hotel terrace and front patio is spectacular! However, I strongly suggest booking a larger room and not the single room for 1. It was tiny and I struggled with fitting an open suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was even tinier and if you are over 6’ - you will be hunched...

"It is walking distance from railway station and easy connectivity. croissants were the best. Pasta is yummy. Coffee is good. View out the room was awesome. We can see a river mountains and snow clad mountain if we step out of the room."

Can't fault this hotel. So is there a negative? Only one, the chirch nearby has a clock thst chimes the hours and the quarters if that's not enough it also rings all the bells at 05.00! So if you are a light sleeper and like to sleep with the window open a bit, just bear this in mind"

"Cute cozy hotel in Interlarken. Be warned that they do not have an elevator so maybe not the best place to stay if you have a lot of luggage. Service was fantastic, and the included breakfast was lovely. Walking distance to everything. Also, they had a coin washing machine and dryer which was incredibly handy. They even provide detergent."
