"Very tatty, filthy and stained carpets in public areas. Dismal, flickering lights in corridors. Badly repaired hole in bathroom door. Holes in dressing table surfaces. No aircon so had to leave window open, which is just above the very noisy aircon machinery for the Shell garage next door."

"We can't fault these wonderful cabins or the hosts, the cabins are beautifully built, with great style and attention to detail and everything you need to cater for your stay. "Wonderful, warm welcome. Room very comfortable. Few tweaks needed - drawers not easily accessible, hanging space a bit high. Wonderful shower - walk-in, such a treat as most hotels have showers inaccessible to anyone with any mobility issues. Surprisingly quiet even though on main road. Great for a couple of nights"

"Terrible smoking issue. Checked in and the room smelt of weed. When I returned in the evening and the smell had got worse! I had reported it to reception on both occasions and nothing was done. I then woke up to a strong smell of someone smoking again in a nearby room! Oh and the room didn’t even have any toilet roll in it. Terrible night would never stay again "
