"Overall a great property. Definitely not a 2 star hotel. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, staff was great. Only issue we had was the location of the hotel. The views are breathtaking but to get to a bus or train station you need to walk at least 10-15 minutes on a road that has no sidewalk /footpath for most part. So, it's little risky. I suggest the hotel to start a shuttle service for a small charge from hotel to the bus stop every 15-30 minutes. It will go a long way and will address...

"Good location for our Interlaken visit. Short walk to the railway station. Breakfast was nice to get the day started. Rooms needed additional lighting and extra electrical outlets (especially one in the bathroom) would be nice. Tried to bring the lighting issue to managements attention but didn’t ever see someone to talk with during our 5 day visit."

"Lovely preserved hotel that brings you back in time right in the middle of Lauterbrunnen. Part of the front of the hotel was used in the James Bond movie “Her Majesty’s Secret Service” back in the 1960’s. The scenery from the hotel terrace and front patio is spectacular! However, I strongly suggest booking a larger room and not the single room for 1. It was tiny and I struggled with fitting an open suitcase on the floor. The bathroom was even tinier and if you are over 6’ - you will be hunched...

"Cute cozy hotel in Interlarken. Be warned that they do not have an elevator so maybe not the best place to stay if you have a lot of luggage. Service was fantastic, and the included breakfast was lovely. Walking distance to everything. Also, they had a coin washing machine and dryer which was incredibly handy. "The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The building is a little dated but the location is great. It is within 5min walk from the station and there are lots of restaurant/cafe options right outside the door. The FIRST cable car station is just down the road and Pfingsteg cable station is another 5minutes."

"Description had twin bed, in practice it was a single bed. Men's shared bathroom lock was broken. No soap in shared shower. You can hear every single thing the people in rooms next to you are doing. Breakfast was OK. Parking is convenient."

"This was a one bedroom studio apartment. The condition of the apartment was not great. The apartment is on the 4th floor and the building has no elevator - about which we are not informed about at the time of booking. Imagine carrying 4 suitcases to the 4th floor. The appartment gets direct sun and there were no fans. It got very very hot in the day time. This apartment is built in attic and we kept on bumping our heads. Avoid this place, if you can."
