BUT, as our four day stay went on we came to enjoy the quirky ‘old world’ 1908 atmosphere. It became the BEST place we stayed in Sicily. Attentive staff at breakfast and at the bar in the evening. The hotel is gorgeous from the outside and is a perfect location for the beach which is just across the road. We had a balcony room which had a great view onto the beach and sea.
