"We were given a room with a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. The weather we had for the three nights we were there was perfect. This hotel is within walking distance of the train station in Zermatt and all of the lifts to the mountains. We also walked to Randa one day. It was also away from the noise of the downtown area of Zermatt. The black nose sheep were in the field beside the hotel. "

"The view of the Matterhorn from our room balcony was magnificent! The only negative of our stay was coffee. There is no option in the room which I assume is for fire safety. When having breakfast in the dining area the coffee is served by the cup. When there are 8-20 guests at one time and one server who is hustling it's not efficient. There is no fault on the server just the system. "

"We loved our stay at Hotel Bristol. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and adorable and had a phenomenal view of the Matterhorn. Everything is within walking distance but you can easily get a cab or bus. The morning we left, the hotel had a complimentary cab for us! We would stay here again without hesitation. "

"The hotel was right near the gondolas and only a 15 minute walk into town. The views of the Matterhorn were amazing from the room! And the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. "

"This is a nice hotel up on a hill overlooking Zermatt and the Matterhorn. They offer a pick up service from the train station and an elevator to get you down to river level from their high elevation when you want to walk to town. Convenient to downtown attractions. Good breakfast options and nice staff. Not much in the way of food during the day (Early June 2024). Perhaps it has more options when tourist season is high."
