"Perfect for those traveling solo on business trips or for consulate interviews.
The staff are very helpful. Juliana was there during my stay, and she was amazing helping me and my husband printing a lot of paperwork we needed for our consulate interview!
We did everything by foot. 10min from the airport, mall and 8min from consulate. All walking distance.
Highly recommend this hotel."

Nicely upkept property. Good selection for breakfast. Location is far from main attractions, so keep that in mind. With traffic you are at least 45 minutes to an hour away from things to do.

I stayed at Ipanema Inn for a few nights during a solo trip to Rio and would stay again if I’m back. From check-in to assisting with booking any tours/tickets/dinner reservations Fred at the front desk was always so helpful and greeted me by name every time he was there. Fred made it so easy to plan my adventures, helped with suggestions anytime I needed, was very responsive on WhatsApp when I was out exploring Rio, and spoke great English which helped my lack of Portuguese. Exceptionally well located in the trendy neighborhood of Leblon, only 3 minutes from the beach. Great shopping and restaurants abound in the area. Staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very generous, and good quality of items.
Room was clean, comfortable, however quite spartan, but this is what to expect in an Apart hotel. Obviously the price is as expensive as anything in Rio.

The hotel is somewhat new and the rooms are alittle small but it's very clean, with fresh linens and modern amenities. The location is conveniently good, not too far from the international airport and just across the street from the hotel lies a large mall that offers plenty of dining options at any restaurants to choose from. The front desk staff was helpful and professional throughout my stay.

The hotel was really nice inside and the staff was helpful. The room was pretty big (it even had a little antechamber) and I had a very nice view of the city from the 10th floor. The bed was a bit hard, but that's just how beds are in Brazil so come prepared for that. The best part of my stay though was the breakfast. So many different kinds of bread, waffles with chocolate sauce, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon, and four different types of fruit juice. It was a FEAST.

My son and I spent 22 days here enjoying all the football, foot volley, Açaí, Roxy, Marcacana tour, Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, Christ the Redeemer, Urca Mountain, Sugarloaf, Lapa Steps, Roxy, Brazilian culture and more! The hospitality and helpfulness of the desk speaking Spanish, English, and Portuguese was awesome. Housekeeping kept our stay clean! Thank you for sharing your country!

I am a frequent, older, solo traveler. This was country #55 for me, so I have had a lot of experience with foreign accommodations.
I found the Vermont to be basic, but spotless, well-maintained, and having most of the virtues I look for when traveling. I am a heavy WiFi user for work. WiFi was fast, if not super speedy, and varied in speed while on it. But I was able to accomplish my work with two VPN's to the U.S. My solo room was lacking a dresser, but had a large closet with a couple of...

The ac didn’t work well, so it got stuffy a few times in the middle of the night. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and well kept. Great restaurants and shops at walking distance; not to mention the beautiful Copacabana Beach. I would stay at this hotel again. And Mr. Altino (I think that’s his name), the very nice gentleman who works at the front door in the afternoons is the best!

I have been staying here when visiting Rio since 2003! The convenience of being near Arpoador, where Copacabana meets Ipanema, and being able to easily walk to either beach or neighborhood is perfect. Breakfast is varied, fresh, and has my fave Brazilian staples (fruits, ‘french’ bread, eggs and of course coffee.) Front desk and cleaning staff are lovely, and I always feel safe and in good hands there. Can’t wait for a chance to go back

I needed a place for the night and this served well. The breakfast was great.
Only negative remark would’ve that there was no towel in the room.
Otherwise definitely a place I’d pick again
