"We had reasonably high hopes of Greyfriars and, unusually in today's Britain, they exceeded them all. Our arrival was difficult, co-inciding as it did with some cycling event that denied us car access to the hotel. This was soon emolliated by the excellent reception staff and the sheer quality of the room and guest experience. The room was stunning. Clean, stylish and with a bathroom equipped with a double shower, large bath and top-quality fittings. Comfortable bed. Top quality accessories...

"The hotel location is fantastic, walking trail is on the door step, it’s so beautiful and peaceful with full of buttercups in the meadowlands. Wonderful National Trust Houses and Gardens like Melford Hall, Lavenham Guildhall and Ickworth all in 30 minutes driving. Besides the sound proof is weak, room #8 is good size for a single occupancy, although I paid for a double room. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. "

"A fun building dating at one end around 1600 and the other 2016. The Tudor bits are wobbly and pokey as you would expect. The modern bits, modern. Helpful staff and a kitchen that poached eggs nicely for breakfast. For a budget option, this is a good stay. "

"It as a beautiful 1400 Grade 1-listed building, which was great, but I had problems with the shower. In my initial room the water was lukewarm at best. I was moved to another where the water was hot but the shower was weak. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was good. They had soya milk for my coffee."

Julie was so helpful and a star; Claire served up a top-drawer breakfast made with high quality ingredients, cooked so well by the kitchen. Lovely contemporary bar and restaurant area - it’s just a move place to be."

"A lovely place to stay. Nice rooms, nice pub and nice food. Would certainly recommend those looking in the area. I attended a wedding at Braxted Park which was a short drive away but did not get a chance to check out the area around the property hence only average stars for that. Staff are very friendly too. Will certainly choose to stay here if in the area again. "

"The White Hart is a lovely hotel and pub set in the charming village of Coggeshell. We stayed bed and breakfast for 2 nights. The manageress, Nicky, and her staff were welcoming, pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean, inviting and quiet; the bed was especially comfortable, and we slept well both nights. We really enjoyed our breakfasts, there was lots of choice for both the continental style and the cooked breakfasts, the food was of good quality and plentiful. We can heartily recommend...

"Great staff lovely breakfast but noisy until the pub closes but really quiet after that until staff arrive at 7ish to start breakfast.Location is good only a very short walk to town centre.Parking can be a real issue no blue badge spaces nearby on street parking but very busy when we were there & had to park a few streets away.On street parking is limited to 1-2 hours between 10am-6pm Mon-Sat so a bit of an issue for us.As my husband is disabled staff did offer for us to open the courtyard gates...
