"Perfect "

"Our room in Hotel 1908 was fabulous. It was big and well air-conditioned when we arrived. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. I know that those reading this might not believe, but it was the best 3 nights of sleep I have gotten in at least 4 years. The bathroom is huge and clean. The windows in the bathroom and room both open. The hotel gives you these cute bedroom slippers and post cards you can mail back home. They also treated us with a delicious cappuccino and took their time to explain the way around the city. André, who helped us, was very nice and courteous. I would definitely stay at Hotel 1908 again. "

"Great place, clean and central with helpful, friendly staff. The only issue we had was the water pressure/balancing. If one was in the shower and another ran a tap or flushed the toilet, the person in the shower was in for a scolding. Other than that, no complaints. Breakfast was perfect by the way, with lots of choices"

"Comfortable, quiet hotel, well located for exploring the city. Friendly, helpful staff. Complimentary drink upon arrival. Good variety of items for breakfast. Special thanks to breakfast room staffperson Paula who provided us with ice and water for our water bottles each day before we headed out to walk Lisbon. For a change of pace from excellent Portuguese food, we enjoyed Passage to India (across the street from the hotel) and Italy Caffe Ristorante (on the parallel street around the corner)."

"I loved my stay at Luster Hotel, I was staying alone and all of the staff made me feel really comfortable. They gave me suggestions of things to do and places to go to explore the city which I appreciated. I took a trip to the spa for a massage, which I would highly recommend because it was super relaxing and worth every penny! The pool area can get quite busy and not all of the sun loungers get very good sun exposure during the day but I think that this is because of the big buildings that surround the hotel and can't be prevented. Also, the hotel is really close to a metro station which makes it very easy to get into the centre of Lisbon but if you want to stay somewhere which is walkable to the main districts, it might be a bit of the way out. I primarily took taxis, which are really cheap, but you do lose out on walking around the streets and seeing the magic of the City."
