Hotel staff were super helpful, breakfast was good and we also used the Spa which was a nice bonus. "The hotel was kept beautifully clean and well presented throughout the week I was there. The proprietress was very welcoming on my arrival and helped me with my suitcase, The room was a good size and was well maintained except for a broken drawer in the chest of drawers which I reported as soon as possible. Harmony Guest House

Torquay

10/10 Excellent

Travelling for work and I had the place to myself due to the pandemic. Felt a bit guilty for putting out the owner, Michelle, just for me but she was very welcoming. I travel quite a bit for work and when you stay in an independent guest house, it can be a bit hit and miss, but I felt immediately comfortable here. The room was well appointed and spotlessly clean, the breakfast was good and they have a well stocked ‘honesty’ bar with reasonable prices. Recommend

Villa Marina

Torquay

10/10 Excellent

The Villa Marina is run by two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. Vince and Erwan were amazing hosts who would do anything to ensure you had a wonderful stay. The hotel is super clean, the breakfasts ensured lunch may not be required! A location not far from the sea or town centre and an overall lovely atmosphere. Their knowledge of the local area was well received by everyone which helped guests make the most of their time in Torquay. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay...
