The staff is knowledgeable and very attentive to the needs of the hotel guests. The breakfast provided was very good. Hotel is trying to be very “green” but strangely no electrical outlets are available in the bathroom for a hair dryer. On the downside the location is a long walk to the central area, the construction outside the hotel is an inconvenience,...

"The hotel and the room were overall good. It could have been a little cleaner in the lobby, it looks a little run down. The dining area was nice. The bar area was cute. I wish there was a pool! My biggest complaints were that the safe didn’t work so I was not able to lock anything in it, and the location of the hotel. It’s about 20-30 minutes via taxi into Florence. I didn’t realize it was so far away when I booked it. "

"The hotel was quite nice. However, the standard double room was very small for two people. We were spending two weeks in Italy with 2 nights in Florence & had four bags in total. We barely had any floor space to open more than one at a time. Friendly staff & about a 7 minute walk from the statue of David."
