"The property is a beautiful historic home with fun trap doors and hiding places from the original owner's tea smuggling days. It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. We had easy access to restaurants in town (we watched the fresh fish delivered daily), scenic hiking trails and the golf course on the hill behind the house. "Great place as a base for exploring the Borders. Overall stay was good. Room was exceptionally clean(had a couple of minor niggles but these were dealt with happily and swiftly). Stayed in a double which was quite small (with only one bedside table). Would 'upgrade' to a larger room if staying again.
