During our first night there we had some issues with the air conditioner, which the staff tried to resolve straight away and kept on checking on during our whole stay to make sure that it was working fine and that we were comfortable. I booked the lagoon view room but when I arrived I asked to be moved to the best Lagoon room with access to the private lagoon pool and out door bed. This property is amazing!! I would definitely stay here again. All the staffs were very friendly, courteous and attentive. They made me feel so welcomed and they all spoke English pretty well. They picked me up from the airport for about $30 U.S dollars and it was stress free. The property has an infinity pool and the view from my room of the rice field was so beautiful! They have a shuttle that runs every few hours to take you to the center of Ubud where you can walk around and eat and shop....

To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place.
