"The drive into this beautiful place is a bit bumpy, and you need a car/truck that is not too low or it could be tricky. The rooms were fantastic and accessed by stairs, which you need to know if you are travelling with anyone who has health considerations. The bathroom was perfect, and the hostess was AMAZING!!! The breakfast was lovely, nothing like fresh eggs from her own chickens. It was a lovely spot with a cute little hike to a private beach area. Very suitable for a recharge getaway. ...

"Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us. If we're back in the area well certainly consider Crawfield Grange as the #1 place to stay. "

"The welcome was warm and personal. Beautiful period property, everything is of really high standard, with such attention to detail. "What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"
